Aged to Perfection

If you’re already a fan of Eagle Rare 10-Year, get ready to meet its more mature sibling. Eagle Rare 12 is aged for an extra two years in the heart of Buffalo Trace’s historic Kentucky rickhouses, allowing the spirit to develop added complexity and richness. Expect a deeper oak presence, a silky-smooth mouthfeel, and layers of vanilla, caramel, and toasted spice.

This release is not to be confused with the highly allocated Eagle Rare 17-Year from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. Instead, Eagle Rare 12 is crafted from the same low-rye mash bill used in Eagle Rare 10 and Buffalo Trace Bourbon, and bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV).

Buffalo Trace Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley shared that this bottling "represents a richer, older expression of Eagle Rare, designed to be more accessible and consistent year-round."
