Crafted at the historic Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky, Woodford Reserve Batch Proof 2024 is an annual limited-edition, high-proof expression crafted by Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall. At 121.2 proof, this bourbon is meticulously blended from 100+ barrels, each drawn from different production dates and various warehouse locations. Part of their Master's Collection line of limited and at times experimental releases, the distillery bottled their famous bourbon between 121 and 126 proof - a significant jump from the 90 proofer you typically enjoy. Tasting notes from the distillery follow. "Color: Burnt Amber Aroma: Vanilla bean, brown sugar pecans, tropical citrus fruits with a dusting of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Taste: Sweet toasted oak, cocoa, juicy pineapple, dried strawberry, and spiced berries. Finish: Dried strawberry, toasted oak, and raw honey."
