With a smooth mouthfeel, even at a still strength 48% abv (most tequilas are diluted to 38-40% abv), Madre Tequila offers a full bodied, sweet agave flavor that can shine through in a wide range of cocktails, or be savored when slowed sipped neat. Aromas of raw agave with a hint of citrus, evolve on the palate into notes of caramelized agave,and minerality.

Prior to the industrialization of tequila, which now allows additives such as glycerine, coloring and sweeteners to be included in products labeled 100% agave, all tequila was simply mezcal, made in the town of Tequila.
