If it manages to outlast the holidays, it’ll keep you warm all winter as well. The oak, so noticeable on the nose, gives way to strawberry rhubarb pie and ginger beer on the palate, with spice notes that whisper “stir up a Manhattan, would you?” A splash of spring water cools the cask strength heat, pushes aside the oak, and lets tropical fruit take the stage with grilled peach and a finish of fresh ginger.
