As the third in line following limited-edition releases of their rye whisky and dark rye, Basil Haydens Two by Two rye whiskey certainly doesn’t take third place when it comes to taste! Two by Two Rye is a combination of two Kentucky straight rye whiskeys and two Kentucky straight bourbons. Released in July 2018 with a proof of 80%, this decadently hued amber nectar begins with a nose full of warm caramel, deep boughs of brown sugar, and reefs of delicate rye over vanilla essence. The palate is an intricate balance of sweet rye and baked brown sugars together with subtle layers of aged wood.
