First aged in American oak, this superbly crafted whisky was created under the watchful eye of Master Distiller David C. Stewart, who has favored casks from this specific region in previous expressions. The Balvenie Madeira Cask 15 Year was originally bottled solely for travel retail locations and as such is a rare collector's bottling, marketed with a bold, blushed-rose label. The nose introduces notes of ruby red apples, vanilla, and pears coated in honey. On the palate are bright layers of summer oranges, apricots, and warm ginger.
