Hakushu 12 Year Old Single Malt Japanese Whisky
Japanese Single Malt Whisky | 43% ABV (86 Proof) | 750 mL | Yamanashi, Japan | Lightly Peated | Aged 12 Years
Process & Profile
Hakushu 12 Year Old Single Malt is produced at Hakushu Distillery, located deep within the forests of Mt. Kaikomagatake in Yamanashi Prefecture. Using 100% malted barley and fresh, naturally filtered alpine water, the whisky is distilled in copper pot stills and matured for 12 years in a variety of cask types. Its mountain environment and lightly peated style create a uniquely fresh, herbaceous and subtly smoky profile that has made Hakushu 12 a cornerstone of modern Japanese whisky.
